Emma Everts

Emma followed in her mom’s footsteps!
I was born and raised in Los Alamitos, CA. My mom was a professional dancer and that’s what initially made me start dance at age 4. I danced at Orange County Dance Center until I was 17, when I moved to join Milwaukee Ballet’s pre professional training program. Then I received my second company contract the following year with Milwaukee Ballet. I will be starting my 2nd season with them in September!

She is joyous and grateful for her career so far.
One of my most cherished moments on stage was my first performance back performing Nutcracker after multiple years off due to injury. It was a huge turning point in my life & training. It made me realize professional ballet was truly my passion & goal. The other highlight of my career so far was getting my second company contract. That feeling of joy & gratitude is indescribable.

Emma’s class is totally free of pressure.
My goal for you during my class feels quite simple – I hope that you leave feeling more radiant & overwhelmed with a gratitude & appreciation for your body than when you first started. I want exercise to be accessible to all, and for everyone to know that we are ALL 100% human, truly taking the pressure off!

After dancing, she hopes to one day be a nurse!
My personal goals & dreams… quite a few! In the ballet world, I would love to ultimately end up dancing at one point in my career in Europe. Besides that, I just want to enjoy all the moments & find thankfulness for my body along the way. With my Pilates teaching, I want to reach a more senior age group of people. (I’m also in school to get my nursing degree) and I feel so passionate working with this age group to bring longevity, movement & joy to them.
